  I am a current resident. Although the apartments are spacious and decent, the amenities and staff are good; it appalls me the cost for rent here; not to mention, it goes up every time your lease is up. I was in the military and have lived and rented places all over the country. But I have NEVER lived at a apartment complex where they have raised the rent 3 times in less than two years. Most places I have rented, whether it was a house or apartment complex, lower rent. Not this place. The property manager claims that they raise the rent according to the market; however, they must be comparing based on the entire Detroit metropolitan area because this is the most expensive apartment complex in the Downriver area; especially given the location. Another issue to consider, rent does not include any utilities and you would have to pay $40.09 on top of rent to pay for water (and $20 if you want a reserved covered parking spot, worth considering since most people do not have covered parking and there are not many open spots left). They refuse to work with you and you have to give them a 45 day notice before you leave, which screws with the timeframe to work with other apartment complexes/renters. Bottom line, the apartments are nice considering the costs. But there are better areas you can live at given the cost of rent and people more willing to be accommodating.
